Unique non-stick cookware
Maxim non-stick cookware has been sold in Malaysia for 25 years by top Malaysian household supplier, Katrin BJ Sdn Bhd, and is one of the most popular and trusted brands in Malaysia.
Through the years, Maxim has introduced Dupont Teflon coatings which are used in all Maxim non-stick standards of Dupont, the largest non-stick coating manufacturer in the world.
This year, Maxim is launching their β4 STARS in ONEβ Maxim IH STAR in Malaysia.
What is so special about Maxim IH STAR?
- The quality of the induction base
- Unique non-stick texture surface with Teflon Xtra from Dupont
- Deep shape of the pans
- Silicone thumb rest
With Induction Base, you will have more advantages when it comes to your cooking process. It requires less time and less energy compared to the Non-Induction Base. Moreover, the Induction Base will stay clean and does not char the bottom of the cookware.
A good Induction Base must undergo a proper pre-heating process, applicable for both the aluminium and the Stainless Steel Disk prior to the joining process. This is to ensure that the two metals will be homogeneously and precisely united into one, and it will not be easily detached under a thermal shock test.
There are two easy ways to immediately check whether your cookware has good Induction Base quality or not.
One, run your fingertips on the surface of the induction bottom. A good Induction Base will have a smooth surface. Thus if your fingers sense some bumps here and there on the surface, or sense a rough surface especially where the aluminium and stainless steel join, then this is certainly not a good Induction Base.
Another way to assess your cookware is by looking closely at the surface of the bottom. A poor Induction Base will have small gaps where the different materials join. This will not occur in a good Induction Base.
The unique non-stick texture will be very useful for searching and frying, as this texture coated with superior Teflon Xtra from DuPont ensures a perfect cooking process of the food, which means a better result is easily expected from each cooking session using this pot/pan.
Over 40 yeas of consumer use, along with laboratory testing and published peer-reviewed research, have affirmed that cookware made with Teflon non-stick coatings is safe for both consumer and commercial use at normal cooking temperatures.
If particles of Teflon on cookware are accidentally ingested, there is no danger, because they are non-toxic and insert.
To date, cooks in more than 40 countries around the world have purchased over two billion pots and pans with Teflon brand non-stick coatings for home and commercial use. In all of this experience, there has been no record of any significant human health problems.
Furthermore, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) concluded that fluoropolymer non-stick coatings for cookware are acceptable for conventional kitchen use.
In addition to this special feature, MAXIM IH Star proudly presents its small inwards dimples. This unique texture will help retain excessive oil or fat from meat/poultry automatically; hence, it is very healthy.
Research has indicated that deep pans are extremely useful and popular in the kitchen. MAXIM IH Star answers this need. With its depth and specially designed pots and pans, this MAXIM IH Star will surely be a good companion to every housewife/chef in preparing delicious and favourite meals for every occasion.
Another plus point of this cookware is that it has a good and non-slip silicone thumb-rest on its handle. This is very important to have in the kitchen, when the housewife/chef does not have the time to wash the oil off his/her hands every now and then. On top of that, this specially designed handle will ensure a full grip of the pan.
