Singapore can stand the heat (GreenPan)

In February 2009, GreenPan was officially launched into retail in Singapore, together with Asian Food Channel and Katrin BJ. On 20th March 2009, the official press launch took place at Asian Food Channel’s in-house studio kitchen.

GreenPan offers a number of selected ranges in different materials, which are indispensable in the kitchen. GreenPan is now available in all leading department stores such as Takashimaya, Robinsons, Tangs and Isetan, as well as other selected retailers.

Launch Malaysia: Malaysia cooks it up (GreenPan)

Katrin BJ, the leading household goods distributor in Malaysia and Singapore, has been appointed by GreenPan as its exclusive distribution partner for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.

Furthermore, GreenPan also partners with the Asian Food Channel – the only regional food channel in Asia – as its prime marketing and advertising partner. The Managing Director of Katrin BJ said,”We see the partnership between us, AFC and GreenPan as a new way of reaching out and bringing this great cookware to our targeted consumers”.

In March 2009, GreenPan was officially launched during a press event in the Bangsar Shopping Village, in Kuala Lumpur. Katrin BJ has launched several ranges which include fry pans, woks, casseroles, grill pans and skillets, everything you need to make your kitchen complete.

Housewives and cooking enthusiasts can now welcome Green Pan cookware into their kitchens as the Belgian brand makes its debut in Malaysia this month. Green Pan is certainly more than what the colour suggests, it aims to care for the environment and the health of its users besides being a well-known non-stick cookware. Asian cooking is very acidic and we need to use cookware that are safe for such corrosive cooking. “Our consumers also have always asked for a non-stick cookware that can withstand high temperature with longer life span and durability,” said Katrin BJ Sdn Bhd managaing director Jean Yeap.

During the launch, guests vieved a 30-minute video featuring users of the product giving their testimonials. This was followed by a brief explanation on the product by Green Pan Europe account manager Zouhair Yahia. Zouhair said Green Pan was both polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and polyfluroctanacid (PFOA) free as it used the Thermolon natural ceramic coating for its cookware. Besides that, Zouhair said it was heat resistant of up to 450 degrees, giving it extra durability to the interior surface. The brand has a selection of fry pans, round grill pans, saucepans, casseroles and woks with handles.
